Versa UI React v1.0 marks our official major release, delivering a comprehensive UI system built for modern web applications. This milestone introduces new data visualization and utility components, an extensive vector illustration library, major component enhancements, an upgraded Tokens v2.5 architecture with modular theme files, and new foundational guides.

New Components & Assets

• Bar List (<BarList />): Horizontal ranked distribution chart for comparing metrics, data series, and progress distributions.
• Color Picker (<ColorPicker />): Comprehensive color selection system featuring a 2D saturation/value area, hue and alpha sliders, hex/RGB value inputs, and preset color swatches.
• Contained Slider (<ContainedSlider />): Horizontal and vertical slider controls featuring integrated step markers and value indicator badges.
• Contained Icon (<ContainedIcon />): Adaptive icon wrapper supporting simple and expressive style, customizable corner radii, and thematic glow across themes.
• Illustrations: Suite of 20+ vector illustrations designed for empty states, system feedback, analytics, auth, communication, and task workflows.

Component Enhancements & Variants

• Compact Button (<CompactButton />): Replaced CompactIconButton with an evolved compact button that supports text labels, leading and trailing icons, dismiss actions, and multiple visual styles (filled, outline, subtle), adapting corner radius to the active theme.
• Side Navigation: Added a new neutral variant with Material wrapper for active states, refined badge positioning, and expressive style support.
• Container Tabs: Added full vertical orientation support, full-width container styling, and responsive layout improvements.
• Alert: Enhanced with expressive style, updated structural layout, and status badge configurations.
• Modal: Updated ModalHeader to natively support <ContainedIcon /> with configurable role, size, style, and corner radius props, and updated the close button to <CompactButton />.
• Status Modal: Redesigned layout with <ContainedIcon /> for semantic status feedback (success, error, warning, info) with expressive style support, improved text hierarchy, and flexible footer actions with checkbox support.
• Toast: Overhauled notification system with multi-position viewport placement, swipe dismissals, and variant styles.
• Text Area: Added auto-grow support (autoGrow) with configurable maximum height, interactive trailing action support (onTrailingClick), and refined layout spacing.
• File Card: Refactored with the <Material /> component wrapper for consistent elevation, integrated <ContainedIcon /> with expressive style support, and added standardized size variants with design system action buttons.

Design Tokens & Theming

• Tokens v2.5 Architecture: Restructured design tokens with expressive style fills, composite inner shadows, outlines, and refined control corner radii.
• Modular Themes: Split themes into dedicated modular stylesheets (core, glassmorphism, brutalism, and humanist) for faster loading and streamlined customization.
• Glassmorphism Enhancements: Enhanced Glassmorphism theme with refined backdrop blur, glass outlines, and subtle inner glow effects, while maintaining consistent Material surfaces across other themes.

Application Templates

• Access Management Template: Integrated the new <CompactButton /> and <BarList /> components, updated AccessGraphNode styling and group icon rendering, and improved table container overflow clipping for sticky headers.
• Task Management Template: Refined TaskCard to use the <Material /> component wrapper for consistent theming and elevation, replaced legacy icon buttons with <CompactButton />, and improved table container scrolling and sticky headers across task and file views.
